Welcome to the Rhee System and the War

Omega III
This system is patrolled by the 58th Tactical Fighter Wing, and is currently in dispute with the empire. The empire has sent its best forces to locate and destroy any rebel presence in this system. Unfortunetly for the emps., we're not going to leave without one hell of a fight! The empire doesn't know it, but the spaceport, Omega III, on the planet Titan, is more than just a spaceport to our cause.
Omega III serves many purposes. Primarily, it is our main staging ground for operations deep in the imperial held Zulu Sector. It also serves as our medical and repair facility for this system and the entire Echo Sector. The 58th is based on the smallest of Titans' three moons, Braxton.

The Operation
The empire has already deployed thier elite, the feared 3rd Fleet, under the command of Admiral O'Brady. This fleet consist of 3 star destroyers, 2 frigates, and 6 cruisers. Each ship contains a full compliment of imperial fighters, gunships, transports, and bombers. Currently Omega III is useless, since the empire has moved in. We must eliminate this intrusion immediately, but there is one problem. If we deploy a large force to counter this problem, then the empire will know we have some sort of operation being conducted here. We can not risk our priceless forces agaisnt such a powerful fleet. Our only course of action is to use a small unit that could handle such a large mission. So there it was. We were assigned to this task with the assistance of the Mon Calamari Cruiser R.A. Yorktown.
